At the GT Director's meeting, we're learning about

1. Innovation in the classroom: Incorporating creativity into all content
2. Teaching with songs
3. ALPs and ICAP use and merging
4. Root cause analysis: How to look at data and move from symptoms to the causes, and how to isolate causes to maximize success

UNC has a creativity express workshop targeted to students in second through fifth grade. Space is limited to 50 participants, so sign up ASAP if you want to attend. Cost is $80, For more information, ask your school's GATE teacher or the district GATE coordinator.
